Stuck in a job you don't like, a less than fabulous apartment, maybe even an imbalanced relationship? Stop tolerating less than you desire.
This goes for anything big or small. You could be tolerating small things like a broken closet door you wrench open every morning, a paint color you hate, or clothes that don’t fit. Or you could be tolerating something bigger, like a job that pays you a lower salary than your skills are worth, shallow friendships, or being spoken to in a demeaning way.
Stop ignoring the big things and start recognizing the small things that, unknowingly, add up and collectively ware you down.
List out everything you are currently tolerating. Look at each one- What can you do about it?
Decipher what you can control, take action and stop allowing less for yourself. Understand your needs and establish your boundaries.
When you decide what you won’t tolerate, you learn how to care for yourself.
